Boot Camp is nearly here!
Dear all!
With just about 4 weeks to go until the biggest annual event in our training schedule, I just want to update you all on the order of things.
We are inviting anyone interested in learning loads more about dogs in a space of just one week while holidaying with your dog in the beautiful Kent’s countryside.
Facilities on the Camp site include – access for Caravans and plenty of space for tents, hot and cold showers and separate lockable toilets, cleaned daily, barbeque grill, marquee, tables, big open bon-fire space, café nearby that serves snacks and meals during working hours, restaurant at the Dry Ski Slope on-site (with plenty of activities to take part in), shady wooded area with plenty of space for everyone.
Camping is from Sunday 26th July, 12 noon, till 1 August, Saturday, 2 pm.
Weekly and daily packages available, so whether you wish to spend the whole week with us, or just planning to come for a day or few – we are confident that you will love the project and everything involved.
Training programme includes Guided Site Walk,
Clay Pigeon Shooting
South Mimms RSPCA Annual Dog Show
We take a great pride in being invited to the South Mimms RSPCA Annual Dog Show for the 8th time running! Address: RSPCA Centre, Packhorse Lane, South Mimms.
This year she show is going to be bigger and even more interesting than ever before (if this is only possible) – come and see it for yourself. The date for it is Sunday 5th July 2009. Do not miss it! Many newly rehabilitated ex-rescue and ex-troublesome dogs will be performing for the owners of rescue dogs! This is the idea. Be there! This is the Good Cause event, and charity of our choice!
Classes at our dog training school
There are no more classes after the 9th July at our indoor School, we will resume training in September, date to be advised.

'Dog Walkers United' on Facebook
Dear all,
For anyone that may be interested we have started a new group called 'Dog Walkers United' on Facebook, this is in response to the new proposed legislation for people who walk dogs commercially anywhere within land managed by the City of London or have a large number of own dogs. In order to ensure that we are not put out of business by a law that we can only walk 4 dogs at a time, we are trying to negotiate for a licensing scheme that will allow us to walk up to 8 dogs together providing they are under control for a nominal fee for using the parks (non commercial walkers would not have to pay).
To do this we need to be a unified group so please join us if this affects you and have your say, there is also a very coherent piece written by Simon Lee the Superintendent of Hampstead Heath on the 'Wall' explaining their position and why they feel it necessary to bring in legislation. This is a closed group so you will have to ask to join, look forward to hearing from you.
